There would need to be a lot more coming from Buffalo for that. Olofsson as an unneeded LW looking for a raise adds no value for Winnipeg and Cozens is a nice start for Scheifele, but more pieces that serve a need for the Jets would need to be added of they wanted Heinola as well.

The trade doesn’t make sense for Buffalo because scheif won’t make them a cup contender but to say cozens>scheif is absolutely ridiculous cMON

I'm speaking in terms of value to the franchise. Buffalo views Cozens a lot higher than they view Schiefele. Mainly given the fact he's 29 and having locker room or behavioral issues or whatever is going on.

I've really liked Schiefele but if he's willing to say screw it with a pretty good Jets team how do you know he wouldn't be giving Buffalo 60% effort for the two years he's here - No Thanks

Yeah, it truly is delusional. Still only 21 yo (!) RFA future 1C vs 1C with the poorest defensive effort among centers in the league locked for 2 years. Scheifele's offensive value is undeniable but 2 years is 2 years and he is no McD
