How is that fair for the kings? Muzzin has a big cap hit for years and isnt even much better than Roy if at all. Kings traded Muzzin already and wouldnt want him back. Vilardi will not be moved for a player like Muzzin or Kokkonen. Its really not good for the Kings at all.

So LA gives up younger assets in Roy and Vilardi for an aging Jake Muzzin who can't even stay healthy, Hardly call this fair for the Kings.

Not even close. Leafs have to clear cap so LA helps them and pays way too much to do so

Yet again, the zombie Muzzin-to-Los-Angeles pipe dream. The Kings aren't interested in this effort to shed significant cap. And this idea is even worse than the usual run-of-the-mill nonsense. To borrow o phrase from the estimable @MoreHitzSeider, this idea belongs in The Worst Trades of All Time wing of the CapFriendly Hall of Fame.

Absolutely no interest in installing Jake Muzzin 2.0 even if he would waive his NTC, plus we could re-sign Alex Edler for less than Jake's cap hit, and we would probably get the same results without having to expend assets to re-acquire Muzz. Will you Toronto guys please stop doing this? It's like the Montreal guys with their silly Jeff-Petry-to-Detroit trades. And the idea that we would trade Matt Roy OR Gabe Vilardi, let alone both, for him is absolutely idiotic.

For the record, here are the figures for Edler and Muzzin:
Edler, 41 games, 3 goals, 19 points, +18, 52.1 Corsi, 54.4 Fenwick, would not cost more than $3.5 million to sign.
Muzzin, 47 games, 3 goals, 14 points, -6 , 48.1 Corsi, 47.9 Fenwick, cap hit of $5.625 million.

OP is a Kings fan.

The Athletic recently reported that Muzzin to the Kings is a possibility.

Stop talking in absolutes that aren't absolutes lol

Sorry if you are quoting anything The Athletic says you have lost the arguement from my perspective. That rag makes things up to get clicks. It is NOT a reputable source.

Kings need a veteran defenceman like Muzzen.
