Easy no from MTL, an unprotected 1st (even from a team that shouldn't be in the lottery) for a rental LD and an RFA who is yet another LD ( MTL has a quite a few of those in the system) is already a bad idea given MTL's unlikely to make playoffs, then adding a decent 3C, 3 middle 6 wingers of varying quality, an alright 2nd pair-really good 3RD option, and depending on Price's health, possibly the goalie who will be getting the majority of the starts next season. Horrible use of assets by MTL, even if Dunn extends 8 years at a reasonable cap hit he's likely more a 2nd pairing guy and MTL has more than enough guys with that potential.
Maybe pick a couple of teams that's likely to make the playoffs and need 2nd pair LD and send Soucy and Dunn to them, even better if the team you send Dunn to is lacking in LD signed to term and a lack of decent prospects at the position.

Why on earth would Edmonton trade a first round pick for a goalie who’s coming off by far the worst season of his career??? The Montreal offer is atrocious considering they’re REBUILDING. Don’t really have an opinion on the Colorado offer. You’re also not allowed to retain on more than three contracts

Edmonton doesn't have the cap space, but why would they do this move anyhow? There's nothing there worth a 1st + prospects.

Also, you've retained on 5 contracts, you can only have 3 retained contracts at a time.

These are the kind of trades Francis thought he was going to be able to make, he found out the hard way other GM’s don’t like to be willingly screwed. Every team declines and just might tell you to lose their number

Why would Montreal trade their first when they are rebuilding and why would Edmonton trade a first for the worst goalie in the league. If anything it would take a first to dump that awful contract

COL declines.
Even with Mccann retained, i wouldnt do a 1st + prospect for him straight up.
Forgetting this years anomaly statistical year for Mccann, hes pretty much = Compher.
