I agree with the people in the comments with this one. They all bring valid one line points, and I too think both sides decline. Now let me please break it down.
Bobrovsky has a huge contract at 10M for 3 more seasons, and he has a NMC. I don’t see him waiving, and with Cossa coming up in a few, I think it would be better just to keep the cheaper option in Nedeljkovic. Lundell is very good and should not be moved at all. I don’t know how they will move Bobrovsky honestly, but it won’t be like this.
Detroit doesn’t have 10M just to throw at a goalie as they will have their big resigns soon with Larkin, Seider, Raymond etc. Bertuzzi is a good winger for Detroit, and he has worked very nicely in their system. Zadina is a NHLer that hasn’t been that good, but I think he can get better given good line mates, and a lot of minutes. Some players take a while. I mean, look at Puljujarvi if you don’t believe me… Nedeljkovic is a good cheap option until Cossa comes up, so I think they will hold onto him as long as they can. As Detroit gets better, Nedeljkovic will get better too! No need to get Lundell in the first place as they can draft a center man with their first from this year!
As a side note, yes I am still upset that they took Cossa, but oh well. I hope he plays well in the NHL with Detroit, and I hope himself, and his team win the cup this season!
