- I think Marner and Matthews will play separately more next season. There was talk of Tavares' role, and while he will remain the "center" and take the faceoffs, I can see Tavares then moving to the boards and Marner playing the center of the ice

I originally had him on line 3 with Engvall and Kampf.

Sharks already have like 5 comparable players to Kase at half the cost each. Reimer is worth twice to SJ what Kase could ever be. A late third doesn't improve the situation.

Can't see AZ or LA accepting those deals at all.

Oh my lord. Will leafs fans please stop offering holl for actual assets. Ya gotta pay to get rid of him. Ya won’t pay a lot but with the way he played last season, it’s 2 mil in dead cap space. Pay at most a third to get rid of. May be a little high but I’d guess around a fourth to get rid of him. Stop thinking you can just dump him for actual assets

as a non Leaf fan i still think Holl has value, just not that much! like a late 3rd/4th is fair.

Another laughable Roy-for-Muzzin suggestion. When will it ever stop?

In what respect is Muzzin as valuable as Roy?

Not financially.

Not as good on the ice.

Not as good looking to the future.

Absolutely horrible idea for the Kings.

SJ is not trying to accumulate LTIR space and that seems to be Kase's specialty

Yes he is a RD and those guys get over valued. Somebody will give up a mid rouders for him but no more than a 3rd

Muzzin is the 2022 version of Dermott. He plays in Toronto so of course he is a superstar who will get a premium return.

In reality he makes way too much money with term. His advanced stats are all below average and he's got a concussion history. The leaf counter arguement is he is tough and leader and was great in the playoffs what ever that means.
