-I cannot see Buffalo giving up a hometown boy who wants to play for their team for 2 years of Nylander and a terrible goalie. Pass for the Sabres...

Good God no from buffalo

Hard pass from Buffalo. Contract status alone makes it a no, regardless of player value.

I wouldn't trade Tuch for Nylander straight up...

I can't like this post enough!
TBH, my first inclination was to grab a pt/gm RW to play in the top line with Skinner and Thompson.
Then I thought about the season and remembered that Tuch was at a pt/gm through the first 23 games 23 pts, until he hit the goal post with his neck in early March.
Over the next 13 games he only had 5 pts, then recovered over the last 14 to register another 10.
IMO a healthy Tuch will be close to 65 pts next year.
There is no way the Sabres will trade a huge power forward, who loves the Sabres to get a pt/gm RW (about 2 pts/month) at 50% higher cap hit for two years and a cap dump GK.
I am so happy all of you were against this trade to force me to convince myself that this is just really bad for the Sabres.
As
@OrganizedConfusion55 said perfectly "Good God no from buffalo!"
