Bob and hornquist probably never waiving, and devils 2oa pick would be quite a heist.

I feel like Daws and 2OA would be the value if Hellebuyck. I don't think the jets need to add two firsts in there. That's just me some devils fans might disagree.

Possibly the 14 or late rangers, but possibly not both. Wouldn’t mind holding onto one or possibly upgrading Foote to a weapon in top 9 along with 2oa, to stack up the depth a little.

I feel like with how badly NJ needs a tender you don't really need to send anything else back. Unless you are stuck on acquiring Foote that is. You have to remember you are giving up your starting Vezina winning goalie. I know you acquire Bob but I doubt he would actually waive for Winnipeg. You should charge an arm and a leg for him.

For sure i hear ya there, With the 2 oa, this squad could still use some work in the top 9 also, so definitely could use a right handed trigger man for the pp, and also a large right handed dman. I’ll claim still a work in progress.

I personally think the jets need to reset a bit. Either get Scheifele back to where he was before or move on from him. Same goes for wheeler. Whatever was going on with the team needs to be figured out, I think it was something behind the scenes in the locker room.

Ya need some trade back into the 25 and under neighborhood, try to find a younger version of scheifele with team control to go with Dubois up the middle, some how find a buffy 2.0 and laine 2.0 and fire away again. Neither grows on trees, so need to attempt to sell high on some talent that is going to hurt, but have to trust the scouts and give them a leg up, by adding picks and moving up higher to find those franchise changers over more of the projects.

The Jets wouldn't add any picks to a theoretical Hellebuyck trade even if it's for the second overall, and he's a far better choice than Bob between the pipes.

This exercise wasn’t for a bob vs helly comparison, but more for the cost certain 2c replacement in lundel and the 2oa add to stack up the top 9 again under 26 ish going forward. A way to remove wheeler and scheifele from the team and hopefully be back in the mix very soon.

Change Devils 2022 pick to their 2023 1st, protected, and take out WPG pick.

Foote / Daws would pay for a good chunk of 2-years of Hellebuyck.

2 oa was the key to the whole thing, jets need a shot at a quick retool, and something only a top 5 pick can bring. Daws was for
Potential goalie of the future and Foote was to make the couple firsts work with helly coming back. Only way helly is moved is for hype and a instant shot in the arm, not prospects and a protected 23 that could turn into a 24. Trade might not be a fit at all just night shift spitballing.
