Avs. Mike Smith doesn’t stand a chance against MacKinnon and his team.

We'll see. Colorado has been lucky so far in that they've mostly faced back-up / AHL goalies. Husso (.890), Rittich (.615) and Ingram (.913) aren't anybody's idea of elite goaltending. Smith (.927) presents a different challenge, similar to facing Binnington for 2 games.

Oilers have faced Quick and Markstrom. Even still, Edmonton is the higher scoring team.

it's the oilers year. it feels like destiny. superstars just win, there are very few of them that dont. especially someone who is the most talented player the league has ever seen... even Gretzky will tell you that. Ken holland gets a mickey mouse ring and uses it for leverage because obviously

Seems like you're grasping at straws to fit your wishful thinking narrative.

Darcy Kuemper has not been doing the Av's any favors with his play

you're right, but I believe Kuemper is better, and the Avs defence should be able to hold off McDavid, and Draisaist enough to win the series.

Keep being insecure. It's obvious. Lying to yourself. I'll keep being realistic. Thanks.

what? I am not insecure at all I literally never been more happy of my Oilers, last time they were this far into the playoffs I was in elementary School and can barely remember it, even if they do lose to the Av's I'll still be happy that they made this far and that they won the Battle of Alberta

replace Kuemper with Markstrom and Av's with Flames and you'd saying that exact same thing people were saying before the BOA

Regular season since Jay Woodcroft took over February 10th:

Record
2. Edmonton: .724 (38 gp)
8. Colorado: .662 (37 gp)

GF - GA = goal differential
Edmonton: 3.82 - 2.76 = +1.06
Colorado: 3.38 - 2.76 = +0.62

SF - SA
Edmonton: 34.8 - 32.4
Colorado: 34.8 - 33.2

Net PP, Net PK
Edmonton: 21.4%, 87.0%
Colorado: 21.4%, 82.8%

There really isn't much daylight between these clubs.

Avs goalies are just as bad as Smith and Koskinen. This might be a pick em series!

Worse, actually.

Smith .917 > Kuemper .897
Koskinen .897 > Francouz .889

It's Smith v Francouz tonight.
