I think I'd do that Garland trade on draft day if there is someone specific that Canucks like with the 51st overall pick. Sam Rinzel is the guy I would want there he's a 6'4 mobile defenseman that played primarily highschool hockey this year. If he shows well in the USHL or college next year then his value would immediately increase.

I would probably do it for the Stars. Gets a RD to play in the top 4 and pair with Harley and creates roster space at C, where pretty much all of our top prospects play. Either Dellandrea can take Faksa's spot at C on the checking line, or Glendening can slide inside with Benn and a re-signed Raffl on the wings.

Fair enough, maybe JR and Allvin can squeeze a 1st round pick or another solid prospect.

I thought the Pens would want to run it back with Kap and see if he can improve.

I don’t think we should trade Garland, Boeser is the one that needs to go

I think Boeser stays, his value is low atm no point in moving him now and both sides want to get a fair deal done with what JR and his agent have been saying.

I think that Forsberg probably goes for more money than that, and the Canucks would probably keep Garland instead of signing him.
That might even make them keep Myers, and go:
    Hughes - Marino
    OEL - Myers
    Dermott - Schenn

Canucks probably want a smidge more, but sounds like a deal that would get worked out.

They could add a 4th or 5th but I find it very unlikely the pens move Poulin

Nah, not something like Poulin, I meant more like Pens add a 2nd and Canucks add a 3rd.

I like a lot of this, if we could I would like to keep garland, I dont think that we will need to move 2 of our forwards, but if we could do grans and a 1st for garland and a 3rd I could live with that. You may be be mr forsberg but you are starting to sound like mr allvin

Ya I don't see them moving Boeser after just losing his dad. I know it's a business but I think they'll bring him back instead of uprooting his life at such a difficult time.
