although you have more space, both Trocheck and Nichuskin are likely to get more than that.

Evolving hockey has his 5 year at 6.6 million. Sadly he could get close to Hayes money because GMs do GM things.

Nichuskin's 5 year deal is at 6.359 million but is predicted to get a 7 x 6.34 million deal. some GM is going to overpay for his one year of great play. again GM doing GM things.

I like the lineup for 22/23, but some important RFA signings for 23/24 without any big expiring contracts might be difficult

I don’t think jeannot fabbro and carrier will be looking at a huge payday unless they go all out this year. Fabbro will probably get the most out of the 3. Cap will probably go up more than a million after this next season as well. We’ll see. I was just giving options if Poile does actually spend to the cap

I changed it to closer to your predictions. Doable but makes it harder to sign our 3 rfas next year

I'm actually surprised Forsberg didn't re-sign with the Preds yet. He seemed to always say how much he wanted to stay in Nashville.

I want nothing to do with either contract honestly— just too much money and term. That forwards lineup is solid for next season, but it’s not worth it in the long run imo.

Those are some wild numbers, especially Nichushkin. Very good player, but you have to imagine some of that offense dries up as soon as he's not playing with the Avs any longer.

Pretty sure that Forsberg would already be resigned by now, The way he talked at the season ending interview sounds like he's likely out the door.

By saying he hopes to be back in Nashville? Poile did this same thing last year with Granlund. Hopefully he gets something done with Forsberg because everything points to both sides wanting to get a deal done.
