At this point, I'm not sure I want to let Bolduc go. It's a solid offer for both sides though.

Bolduc and cap dump in Marco Scandella an early 20's and early 30's 1st round pick for Jakob Chychrun. Yeah pretty sure Bill Armstrong can get a better offer than this.

Agreed. Would be tough to let go of ZB but if Chychrun lightens Parayko’s load and Neighbours hits the ground running I think it could be worth it.

I just don’t know how I feel about chychrun. Like yeah his results have always been good and he’s affordable, but like he’s never totally passed my eye-test. Maybe I need to look closer lol. I’m sorta excited for Bolduc even though he reminds me of mike Hoffman

I understand the perspective, and don't fully disagree, but you also have to understand that Bolduc is currently pushing blue-chip territory, though yes, still just a prospect. Probably requires a bit more going to AZ but also not sure Blues should want to move Bolduc.

Always hard for me to judge good players on bad teams (and vice versa). Chych isn’t perfect but he’s one of the few guys available that I think moves guys down the D depth chart and that’s what needs to happen.

If you think of Hoffman, we should sell high on Bolduc tears of joy but I’ve read that has a good 2way game.

Haha more so the release being automatic, looks just like good old 68. But lowkey think Bolduc might profile as somewhat similar as not much of a driver but a massive + on the PP

Think I was skeptical on both, more so Neighbours though. Both of them had massive d+1 seasons though so tough to complain

Stealing this question, I didn't like either pick but I love them both now, which is a good reminder not to stress about draft decisions tears of joy

I def wanted Lucius or Lysell over Bolduc. And I thought neighbours went too early and there were dmen like grans or niemela that would've been wiser choices but at this point I like the fit of neighbours and bolduc, and at the very least they have gained some value as trade pieces.

You know where I stand. It's not worth tearing this much out of the organization for Chych.
