It's not news, its hardly even speculation. I would fully expect his right to be traded long before he is bought out.

It’s not a buy out, they just don’t qualify him, but I agree they are more likely to QO him and trade then leave him, he holds value

(1) DeBrusk doesn't play in our top 6, so we wouldn't spend those kind of assets on him
(2) I doubt that anyone pays more than a good prospect and a second or two good draft picks for him
