Feel like Pionk has fallen out of grace a bit and adding another top 6 forward isn't necessarily a need but it wouldnt hurt

You are most definitely wrong about Pionk falling out of favour. Another top 6 forward would be nice, but 2 years of Nylander isn't worth a very good top 4 defenseman and the Jets downgrading their pick. Nylander doesn't have the value to return a top 4 RHD in their prime without a decent add.

Nylander isn’t really a fit in Winnipeg, not enough team control, would probably have to flip him again in a year, depending on the year, possibly have to sell for less.
