Nichushkin seems like the perfect guy for the Islanders. He can help your defence a s**t ton and will provide goals for you guys. I really hope that the Avs lock him up tho

He’s playing with Mackinnon right? As long as he can play with Barzal, he’s a go for me

I hate to be at odds with you but for that exact reason I really hope the Avs don't lock him up lol

I think if there's one thing Joe Sakic has shown is he's fine with letting UFAs walk (Grubauer) instead of overextending his resources. I think he keeps at least 1 of the Kadri/Burakovsky/Nichushkin trio but not exactly sure how it'll play out, and I'm hoping the Isles can be the beneficiary

I honestly think this team is still very solid - I think it would be more up Lamoriello's alley to avoid the big splash guys like Forsberg/Fiala/Gaudreau and do something like this.

I think if he can get them at the right price he’ll do it but I don’t see them taking a payout to play here and Fiala may just cost too much in a trade

I’d try and sign Copp in UFA, but it won’t happen.

The idea of signing another power forward named Andrew who was traded away from Winnipeg during his walk year is just giving me too many flashbacks to be able to endorse it

The yotes aren't giving a 3rd rounder to help the Isles with their cap. Bailey isn't Ladd but you still have to pay the Coyotes to take him and Panik. Not the other way around

I’m jealous of all the US National Development Team guys on the rangers lmao. Copp, Vatrano, Miller, Fox, Lindgren Etc.

Arizona doesn’t make sense as a trade partner, but you don’t have to move an asset to trade Bailey.

From the Yotes perspective of not trying to win I get it, but I still think someone will give up more than a 3rd for him lol.
