LA would need to be ok trading for rentals. They aren't yet.

If Fletcher trades Sanhiem and TK for Miller and a 3rd he better be fired on the spot.
When Miller was TK’s age they had nearly identical stats… TK is still growing… now he doesn’t have a terrible coach dragging him down. He will get better…

Sanhiem I’d argue alone is worth Miller

I can see Los Angeles doing that if Sanheim had five years of term left. It would only make sense if an extension was in place, and of course that's always pure speculation.

Currently, I wouldn't trade more than a 2nd and a second tier prospect for Sanheim. Somebody like JAD or Akil Thomas.

Sanheim as a rental doesn't do it for me. If he signed a contract extension that wasn't much more than what he is making now, then maybe the pick gets upgraded to a 1st and the prospect stays the same, or the pick stays the same and the prospect upgrades to a Kupari or Madden/****emo.

Sanhiem extended is worth a first, top tier prospect and young middle 6, middle pair D

Guy is on the cusp of being one of the best 2-way D in the league… and I might be undervaluing him with the above offer honestly.

One of the best 2-way defensemen? He's still not even a legitimate top-pair defensemen on a contending team. I think with an extension he could fetch a 1st rounder and a B+ prospect and then some filler roster player, not 1st + Turcotte + Sean Durzi

He’d beat out Nurse as a top pair D and they are in the final four…

While I know the stat is kinda meaninglessc the man was a plus 9 on one of the worst teams in the NHL, he makes smarter plays than most D I in the league. Hell, I still can’t believe when Mac split the D Nurse pivoted away from the play… that’s the kinda thing you learn about when you’re 9… there’s no reason to trade Sanhiem, not at all, but if we do, we better be getting a lot more than this

If money wasn't a consideration, I'd much rather have Nurse lol

Nurse is just a more physical less defensively oriented Provorov… Nurse gets more points than Sanhiem, helps alot that his O is 10 times better than the guys Sanhiem is making break our passes to, but Sanhiem is far better than both of them… it’s not even close. If the oilers had Sanhiem instead they wouldn’t be down in this series…

I don't think any Flyer is "on the cusp" of anything after the season they had, specifically the defense where they had the 6th worst goals against in the league. Your glasses are just a little too orange-tinted.

With an extension, that sounds about right (provided the extension isn't something much more than his current cap hit). If the Flyers need RD, I'd throw in Sean Walker to the deal of 1st+Thomas. He's more than just a "filler roster player", but it also helps the Kings open both some cap space and a roster spot for the RD coming up the pipeline.

Just want to go a bit more in-depth on Nurse last game… he was on ice for 5 of the 8 goals

4 of them he had some blame in

1 he pivoted the wrong way when the D got split and took himself out of play
2 Makar goal was not much he could’ve done about it, he was the D in front, probably should’ve challenged the player but didn’t
3 was a PP where he was the closest man to the puck and just got out of position a bit which caused multiple shots from the area he was supposed to cover
4. Was a play where every one seemed out of place, he found himself over where the RW should’ve been and was challenging a D, then dropped back down to where the winger was covering for him, opening up a shooting lane for the D who blasted one home
5 was an empty net goal, don’t want to put all the blame on him but the puck bounced over his stick and out of the zone, Nurse did not move for nearly 7 seconds, just standing on the boards, when a player got the puck and tried to make a pass to him, him not moving caused the pass to be an easy to read play, getting an interception

I like Nurse, but he is not good defensively at all

Good to know one player makes a team…
If not for him we would’ve taken first and ran with it. It’s hard to not give up goals with Risto on your team and your two best 2-way Centres missing 80% of the year

I think it's hard to say that when Nurse goes up against the best players. He started 0% of his shifts last game in the offensive zone. Sanheim is fine, but he's a soft player and just a really solid #3 for a good team

Disagree

To each their own I guess
