Meh. Greenway is cheaper and arguably more important than DeBrusk. Jost is an NHL-body and Filipe isn't.

Same thinking about Greenway but we could argue about Jost and Filipe. Minnesota need to remove cap salary to make space enough to sign some guys because of buyout penalty (13m-15m-15m) next 3 years and Host could be the easiest to get out for that purpose.

Yeah - the Wild if they weren't hurting for cap space would consider making this move, but because they need to get rid of cap and would like to ideally sign Fiala its unlikely they add cap.

Minnesota declines. They aren't trading greenway from grief line. They didn't give greenway 3 years extension to break up grief line. Jake isn't good.

You had me at not wanting to break up a line - but man alive - Jake isn't good? I mean Greenway and his elite prowess of hitting the 12 goal marker once in what 5 seasons is good?
