Flyers won't move a top-5 pick to dump JVR for a guy who is about to become a UFA

The Bert trade with include extension. I have heard rumors that Chicago might not even qualify Strome. No clue on value for either of these trades or how close they might be

I would assume his value is higher. That was based on rumors of him not receiving a Qualifying offer. What do you think Chicago would expect for pick compensation?

That's not even close for Serg.

And why would we trade Bert for a terrible winger and a few spots higher in the draft?

It appears as though you're not actually "trading up" as the title would suggest, but keeping your 1st, and adding the Philly one.

That's a really good point...even more absurd

In fairness, there's a lot of talk recently that he's a non-tender candidate. Who knows though.

Very good point. I would not be trading up but trying to add another pic. Didn’t put much thought into the title gang. That was based on a trade I had seen on here and rumors that Philly would be open to moving that pic. Bert is a great player but I don’t think fits our timeline.

What would Serg value be? I appreciate the feedback and of course have no idea but would love to hear what the actual perceived value is from others
