Would likely have to be Guri and a first and even then I feel like there would be better offers from other teams. I do think Guri would do well in Toronto tho

That's a quality trade if you want to dump salary. Gurianov could end up with the right linemates and coach a 30-40 goal scorer. He's had 20 before in a defensive system. I'd even make the 3rd round pick a 1st if it got it done.

We just don't really need picks. Could obviously flip them but honestly I'd want Peterson too and maybe more

I think that's a long way off on a Nylander trade. If they choose to move him they are going to get some seriously good offers. Gurianov is a middle 6 winger at best and 25 yrs old. Not a bad player but not all that enticing either.

I don't mind this one, but I think TOR wants more. Those picks don't do much for them at their current status.

Problem with that is the main idea of getting Nylander would be to get a decent second line with him, Peterson, and Segs

A lot of bad nylander for miller trades and this is nylander for picks and an rfa that’s nowhere near nylander. Horrible. I counter with heiskanen for a second and a third

Then keep Nylander if you plan on asking the moon.

Ah yes. A fourth liner a 2nd and a 3rd is fair value.

Leafs could easily trade nylander for a top pair d man or a top 8 draft pick.

I don’t necessarily disagree. Tho it depends on what Toronto does with the cap space this clears and what Toronto would be able to get out of Guri. If you think you’re going to turn Nylander into a young affordable player as elite as Nylander that isn’t gonna happen as that younger player would be more valuable due to being more affordable and a controlled asset

if you want to improve. you gotta pay the price. you just offered up what it would cost you to get a guy half as good as nylander. this dosent help the leafs at all. if you want to get a good player on the cheap go after a non playoff team. if toronto wants cap space they will get rid of guys like mrazek.

kerfoot and holl still have value too. mrazek however dosent.

a player like nylander that gets 34 goals and 80 points dosent get moved for scraps and trash

Nylander is one of the best RWs in the league.
You are going to have pay up for him and teams will make serious offers.
I agree, not a king's ransom, but that offer displayed is a lowball.
