It’s better than offering a 3rd.

Ottawa says no

If you want to trade down, 7th overall and 2022 TBL 2nd for the 5th overall would be the offer, and it wouild depend on who's still available at 5th on if Ottawa accepted the offer

Value chart has the 5th at 8.2, 7th at 7.1, and the 61-64 at 1.1

7.1 + 1.1 = 8.2

Why is everyone trading DeMelo? It's not like we have too many of shutdown RHD to get rid off them..

No to signing Colin Miller and Erik Gudbranson. DeMelo is better than Miller and already here, so why trade him just to go get a lesser replacement for the same price.

No to all those UFA signings except Trocheck, Comrie, and Brooks. The rest are just not needed or wanted, and Trocheck is iffy… I don’t think he’s the C we need in that 2C slot.

Don’t need Laughton, so add a different player/prospect, like Tippett.

Dump the OTT trade: We won’t be trading away the PHI 1st. We’ll draft Jiricek with it.

If ARI was willing and Wheeler would waive, I’d do it just to get rid of him… but those 2 things are unlikely.

Only moving DeMelo if we get an upgrade on RD.

Just make it easy and do the Schmidt for a 3rd that is almost completely agreed to on here.

Dump the CHI trade: no reason to move all these picks if we’re the other trades aren’t happening.

Dump the SEA trade: Not trading Samberg. Rather trade Heinola, and Jets just traded to reclaim Appleton, they won’t be moving him.

Dump the VGK trade: Not trading for Dadonov and helping VGK cap issues.

Why is Konecny on the LW?

Why is Perfetti on the 3rd line?

??? did you notice what Wpg is sending Philly? I think its a pretty fair trade, not so obvious.
My only comment is i dont think it addresses Philly's needs.

I don't like that PLD contract. Thats a lot of $$$ for a 60 point player.
WPG is betting his production will increase, and I dont think thatll happen.
I mean, compare that $8M+ to Suzuki

Yeah, it’s not a good deal for Philly at all. Mark is a good player, but the guy is a cancer in the locker room, Philly already has a log jam down the middle, and moving 5OA is just dumb, value there alone is too damn high, not to mention TK has a ton of value on his own… it’s just a major over pay

The Philly trade is awful for the Jets. Winnipeg has ni reason to sell low on Scheifele.

The Arizona and Ottawa trades haveni chance of happening.

Samberg is the to 3 valuable to the Jets to move for that.

Dadanov isn't needed and the Jets can't fit him in call wise and he isn't waiving for Winnipeg.

Miller, Gudbranson and Trocheck are all bad UFA contracts.

No, the two 4ths will draft us two players, a 3rd only one.
