Description
B-L-R is the obvious top line who had great chemistry this year

Vrana & Zadina have played great in their limited time together. They've also had good chemistry with Suter centering them. Suter is still young and it might be worth keeping these three together for an extended period under a new coach.

VGK trade could work with Sundqvist traded instead, but I'd hate to move him so quickly after acquiring him. Stephens would slot in better as a C than Sundqvist, and I'm trying to keep Ras to the wing.

I think Nick Paul will get much more in UFA. Hague is fine but why are we giving up picks to help Vegas out of cap hell? I guess it's fair. I just think Stevie can leverage it more.

Mostly giving up assets for Hague. Dadonov's value isn't *that* negative, and Hague's is quite positive. I might even be selling them short with this offer, tbh.

Nick Paul currently makes ~1.5M. I thought this was a modest enough raise, but of course we have the cap space to give more if needed.

Refreshing to not see an unrealistic ask for Dadanov. Adding Hague hurts but probably necessary as we can’t afford him. We’ll done

Thanks! Probably equally refreshing to see someone give honest, positive feedback. Have a great weekend!

Hague would be interesting, but bringing in another young LHD when Edvinsson, Johansson, Wallinder, Buium, McIsaac, Sebrango, etc. are on the cusp of being ready doesn't seem the best use of assets. I suppose it all depends on if they think there is a really good shot at getting three really quality guys from that group.

I feel like this is a low price to pay for him considering Dadonov has some decent value for us as a mentor with playoff experience. It also gets us to the cap floor. Also, Hague is NHL ready and will allow Ed, Jo, and WW time to mature and develop without trying to rush them like we did Hronek.

I know it’s a small thing to point out but I’d rather just give Walman 2 years at a lower cap hit and see what he can do

Thought behind this is the full cap hit is able to be buried, but maybe 3 years is extreme.

I like the trade, though I would want to downgrade one of the picks. Not sure if our defense can bear two rookies this year.

I don't like Suter returning as 2C with no replacement on the horizon internally. I would prefer an upgrade that pushes Suter to 3C. If Paul is our 4C, I view that as an upgrade and a nice signing, while I'm not sure we aren't outbid or equally bid from a better team.

Decent winger depth, could still use another upgrade somewhere to bring in a star player.
