1. Dahlin
2. Hughes
3. Dobson
4. Bouchard
5. Boqvist ( easily can move up a lot, just hasn’t been healthy enough to show his potential )

I really like K'Andre Miller and believe he is just scratching the surface.

I'd go:
Dahlin
Hughes
Bouchard
Dobson
Miller

1. Dahlin (just all around the best)
2. Hughes (1 dimensional, but very good at it, so he is #2)
3. Dobson (will turn into a fantastic top pair dman, similar to hughes, but less offensive and more defensive)
4. Bouchard (rn he's a good 2nd pairing guy, he's a defensive liability, and he isn't THAT good offensively to be considered a top pair guy like Hughes.
5. Boqvist ( ngl, I really like boqvist, and still think he can reach 1st pair, but rn, he's the worst of the 5)

Dobson definitely, he’s already solidified himself as a 2nd pair D, Boqvist has a lot of potential but hasn’t been healthy enough to prove it

I mean Boqvist plays Top4 role consistently in CBJ, although he had an injury riddled year, while Sandin couldn't even fit to Leafs' lineup in the playoffs regularly.

I think Boqvist is ahead pretty clearly.

sandin could steal that #5 spot in the future but i don't think he's there yet. i think he'll need to move somewhere else with more opportunity to get there tho.

The leafs d core is also significantly better than the jackets.

And the reason he didn’t play in the playoffs is because he was injured. Though I admit he likely wouldn’t have played anyway.

If Sandin can stay healthy I got a feeling he will be in the #5 spot. As man does he got some good mentors now to guide him into a top 4 role.

By the time Muzzin is up Sandin should be ready for the job. But hey with 3 top pairings on the blue line those third pair minutes gonna probs be 18+ mins on average a night

1. Rasmus Dahlin - No doubt.
2. Quinn Hughes - 70+ points next season.
3. Even Bouchard - Top pair, 2-way stud.
4. Noah Dobson - Imagine his numbers w/ a better offensive system.
5. K'Andre Miller - Really developed well defensively; Great fit for the Rangers.
6. Adam Boqvist - If he stays healthy, he'll breakout, making the Seth Jones. trade look even worse for CHI.
7. Sean Durzi - Late 2nd round steal for LAK; Could jump a few spots next season.
8. Martin Fehervary - Very solid defensively and highly underrated.
9. Ty Smith - Looking to rebound after sophomore slump. I think he has 2nd pair potential, but needs to get stronger inn front of the net. Good offensive upside.
T10. Alexander Romanov - Limited offensive upside; Decent bottom pair D w/ good physicality. Was way overrated prior to last season; Probably underrated now.
T10. Rasmus Sandin - I could see him as high as #7 next season.
