Winnipeg's needs are top 4 right shot defenseman and top 6 right shot forwards, or players that have the potential to get there. If Scheifele is moved that top 6 forward may need to be a center.

Left shot anything and goalies need not apply.

TK is probably worth a first good prospect and Young 3rd pair D/ bottom 6 forward so I can see where most this is coming from, but Brannstrom was also praised by a few scouts as being a top pair D in the future which I think is probably what the base deal was based on…

A lotto protected first, prospect (maybe Lodin or someone a bit better) and Brannstrom would be a fair price imo
