If Boston decides to rebuild and Florida needs to resign Huberdeau

Description
To start, most likely Poolman goes on LTIR to free up cap space if no one wants him. I'm assuming teams can afford Ferland since he only has 1 year left on his deal. So I put him on a trade.

For the Bruins trade is based on injuries from players in McAvoy and Marchand. If I were the gm, I would be very hesitant about it since we're giving up decent players in Rathbone and Hoglander and also giving away a pick which we need right now. In addition, Carlo would be more valuable for the Bruins' RD. Also, credit goes to MingusClark6 for the Carlo trade idea.

Second, Florida needs to resign Huberdeau next season. Getting rid of Hornqvist's deal helps them.

Dickinson is a more expensive Anders Bjork who is signed even longer, they don’t want that.

Dickinson is nothing like Bjork, pretty good Defensive forward and he hits. If we didn't have Asplund I would do that trade.

Ugh. Now lets think about this logically here pal.
If boston decides to rebuild, know what’s probably going to stay? The 25 year old with 5 years of term. That’s a part of the rebuild.

Pastrnak, Debrusk Hall, Marchand, Forbort, Reilly, Grzelcyk, Ullmark…on the table. Not carlo though.

Hornquist only has 1 yr left. Moving his contract has no bearing on a Huberdeau extension as it would be expired before any extension kicks in

If the Bruins rebuild (which they won't, it'll be more of a re-tool) then why would they trade a 25yr old Top 4 RHD whose signed for 5 more years?

If Allvin offered this deal to Karmanos, I believe Jason would jump it.
I did this comparison for another thread, in which Asplund was part of the deal:
    "............Dickinson v Asplund
    hits........101...............30
    PK TOI...1:28..............0:48
    Blocks...43..................14
    OZS........44.7...............50.3
    goal/60..0.4.................0.4
    pts/60....0.8.................1.4
    TK/GV...2.22................0.88
    GV.........9.....................24
    TK..........20...................21

Dickenson hits (among all Sabre forwards only Hayden had more hits), blocks shots, and manages the puck better better than Rasmus."
To get a 2023 4th and 2022 3rd for a player who is better than Asplund would be hard to pass as he would help Buffalo to reach the cap floor.

EDIT: Along with Girgensons, Dickenson Buffalo would have two forwards who ranked among the top 30 forwards with the highest TK/GV ratio.
IMO he would be a great fourth line LW for the Sabres and would help the PK.

Lol most Canucks fans think we’re just going to send him there for pennies. Been the theme all off-season
