The Canucks were apparently asking Slafkovsky if he can play centre at the combine. I doubt any trade for the #2 pick happens, but it could be interesting to see what it could look like

Not sure I make a JT + trade for 2OA. Vancouver needs an army of young talent to come up their ranks and they current have one prospect that looks to be a lock NHL player (Rathbone).
I haven't spent a lot of time reviewing this draft class but it looks to be below average draft, so unless whoever is available at two is projected to be a franchise player I take the likely three good young assets JT returns, and keep whatever would need to be added, over 2OA.

2OA for 15OA seems to be the swap that may happen, based off of the Devils draft coverage. Trading for Miller would be a mistake either way. He’s great, but his age/contract don’t make sense for NJ
