Referendum on Righties

Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Extend Horvat 56/8
Boeser signs QO and then signs a 28/4

Garland, Horvat, Podkolz, Roy, Hoglander and the 4th line bring the speed.
Blueline average height is 6'1

Horvat, Garland, Pearson, Roy, Highmore, Podkolzin, and Lockwood all play with snarl and Rathbone, Kupari, and Dries also have fights at the AHL level.

blueline moves the puck better, Holl and schenn are the last of the real stay at home defenders, everyone else are statisitically really good at breakouts.

We have more depth for guys who can play up in the lineup in guys like Roy and Kupari. We have a ton of cap space now to work with we can now make more trades taking on bad cap and then turn that around and flip them for picks at money retained.

The RD still isnt great but Holl is coming off the books, Schenn is taking a diminished Roll, and we will have Faber stepping in next year. We will need to find a big to fill in the spot of Holl next year. Philippe Myers could be an option, Vincent Iorio or Helge Grans could probably be had for a prospect we draft this year. Probably a Forward.

A sign of good depth for the canucks is 7-9 players better than Pearson, and I think we're there

meh. If we're moving Holl I would rather receive a pick and clear out the full 2M

I'm not sure how close any of those trades are but your reasoning is solid for why this is a better team.

Right handed players who can win faceoffs, a bit more grit, RD prospects and moving OEL to the right side.

fair but it might be for a 6th or you could get a 2 way centre at 850k less than kerfoot

I don't think OEL on RD solves any of our problems and probably makes the team worse unless we bring in 1-2 defensemen that can eat minutes to play below them, which is unlikely.
