I’d definitely be interested in Dylan Strome. Too bad the Jackets already have one high hockey IQ center who can’t skate in Boone Jenner.

Unlikely the Jets give Stanley away for nothing.

Nothing??? The jets would be lucky to get a 2nd, this is a mid 2nd and a decent prospect.

Yup nothing. If all the Jets can get is a 2nd and a prospect that will top out as half of Stanley,of they are really lucky, the Jets might as well keep him.

I realize it's trendy to dump on Stanley for a bad half season, but it's pointless trading him for assets that will more than likely never have an impact in the NHL.

D Corps still isn't good enough for the playoffs. I don't see the point of moving on from Bean if this is the final result. Both Gudbranson and Strome seem to me like Plan D, which is behind staying the course and getting a higher pick next year. It makes CBJ better in 2022 with a much lower ceiling from 2024 onward. I would rather be positioned asset wise to capitalize on a Lightning RFA, if not Chychrun.

Still need to solve the forward logjam and would rather be trading some assets up for something better.

tipping value of near too much for Stanley as of how he's played so far

So where would you play him next season? With the logjam at LHD, I cant see him being in the top 6.

Just keep him as a cheap 7D then.

I guess, but Kovacevic and Gawanke are both not waiver exempt next year so one of those probably need to be the 7th D or in the top 6.
