Not a very good offer for our best shutdown guy. Even if the Devils were bad last hear, Siegenthaler had good stats regardless for being a shutdown guy.

Siegs is one of the best pure defenders in the entire league, and also really good friends with our captain, so that wouldn’t happen without a lot more going NJ’s way

Trading tomasino for puljujarvi would be a mistake. Their production from last season isn’t terribly different and puljujarvi is 4 years older and will make Atleast 4 times more what Tomasino does who has 2 more years on his entry level contract.

Yea no way on that first trade. I’d rather see what we have with tomasino and glass who I think will have a bigger role this upcoming season. Rather buy out Myers if we don’t give him another chance to lock up our bottom pair and apparently the 3rd trade we aren’t giving enough.

Edmonton also declines that offer, so we're agreed.

Ottawa isn’t taking on more salary on a guy they aren’t going to play. Better to buyout MDZ, or bury him again

oilers would probably do the Puljujarvi trade.

Glass is likely not ever going to be what everyone thought but tomasino is a good player with potential. ( and he played with oilers prospect ty tullio so the scouts would know him well)

I can see it, Oilers need cap flexibility and tomasino would provide that for a year or 2.

I disagree with glass but I get why people think that. He has dealt with injuries pretty much every since he was drafted so he never really got a chance on his development until this year. When in the ahl he looked good and looks to be developing well. I don’t think he’ll be an all star but I could see him being a reliable 2nd line center. As for tomasino I think this kid is gonna be a stud and quite honestly better than Puljujarvi all together. He produced well on the 4th line and should get an promotion to the top 6

Myers' buyout is significantly cheaper. Maybe that's worth a 7th to OTT? Regardless, Del Zotto doesn't make sense for NSH, and just buying out the guy they already have is the better idea for them too.

Like the other Preds fans, I see more upside in Tomasino than Pulju, and think Glass' potential gets underrated a lot around here, because of his draft position.

Siegenthaler is a nice piece, but another LD isn't what NSH needs. I think Ingram and the pick is more valuable to the Preds. Shipping Kunin out of town would be great, but Johnsson isn't someone I see being any better for NSH.
