Even though there is alot of value in that islanders trade, I can't see them accepting just for the fact that they are still in a win now mode and that would set them back quite a bit between the pipes.

Also Calgary isn't interested in trading Vladar one bit, they don't have as replacement for him and couldn't get one as good for as cheap.

the best goalies also play for good defenses. theres no point in making your team worse to get a goalie

Iafallo - Kopitar - Kempe, Moore - Danault - Arvidsson, plus needing to find playing time for Kaliyev, Byfield, Kupari, Grundstrom, probably Turcotte, and others -- where does one year of Kerfoot fit in?
