Dylan Strome isn't signing that, His QO is $3,600,000 x 1 year he'll be looking at closer to $4,500,000 x 4 years.

Comrie would be a nice add, but banking on a 26 year old with one good 19 game sample size as your starter is at best a massive gamble

Don't think anyone is gonna offer him that though. His stats were inflated by Kane. GMs will be careful with this guy.

Exactly. Don't even think he would cost 2.5 too. 1.5 max or find a different backup.

It's a bit ironic. His brother Ryan Strome's numbers are inflated by Panarin.

Elliotte Friedman was reporting he likely won't be qualified as he isn't worth the $3.6M so I doubt he gets $4.5M on the open market.

Mrazek is buried so he could be an option if he recovers, otherwise there could be options at the deadline and Mrazek going the other way should sort the cap, his value shouldn't be as bad if he is good in the AHL and has only 1 year remaining by the deadline.

His underlying numbers were really strong. Especially on high danger changes which is a weakness for the Leafs. I think he will get a surprisingly large contract in a thin goalie market. Similar to how Soupy will get $5M when he hasn't proven he can be a starter with 40+ games played per year. I love him but giving Soupy 5x$5M is absurd but the goalie market is just really thin.

But he hasn't shown he's an actual good nhl goalie yet, let alone someone who can carry a team to a cup.
That's the issue. 19 games is nothing

I don't why I keep seeing Muzzin keep getting traded to Washington on ACGM. That's the opposite of what we need. No thanks.
