I don’t think its a coincidence that he came back to the states and a surprise cassidy firing occurred shortly thereafter. This makes no sense otherwise, there has to be some dominos falling.

Value aside, can't see the Sabres paying a second for a rental.

Something is going on but I'm not ready to say its krejci related just yet.

I’m not either, but I’m not ready to discount it either.

Okay. Steen is not a strong prospect and that would not entice NJ enough to take on Foligno. Also, Coyle isn't waiving his NMC to play in ARZ, and Crowse is going to want more than that.

Honestly I think the devils should have interest in a guy like nick foligno. I think foligno plus the bruins second round pick this year could get it done

If NJ isn't on the Foligno's no trade list then there's potential. But I don't think the Bruins should be shelling out their 2nd when they don't have their 1st this year.

Wouldn't call the firing a surprise, Neely basically said it was happening two weeks ago. But I do agree that it does potentially re-open the Krejci door.

No chance from Buffalo
1- you’re asking too much
2- he’s a rental that doesn’t fit our timeline
3- if he was a Center, then maybe, but we’re loaded on the wings for the most part

So again, zero chance the Sabres pay that price for that type player

When Neely said "We may have to change up the way we coach" you didnt think for one bit that Cassidy was gone? That was my first thought

I didn’t think, “wow, Neely basically just said cassidy was gone.”
