Do you really think that Nolan Patrick is a sound choice as 3C? Why?

Or that other teams will take the VGS cap dumps for future considerations knowing that VGS cant afford to keep them?

      After Lehner's issues/injuries, thats a capable backup?

      The RFAs/UFA look underpaid.

The price of getting Eichel for center depth and suddenly, this is your lineup?

It just looks like a status quo, hoping for no inujuries and hoping for best results all around, but not very realistic.

Vegas wouldn’t have to add Hague in the NJ deal. Pacioretty doesn’t have negative value.

I would do Zacha and a 4th to get that package. Maybe even a 3rd

NJ is trying to compete this year and Pacioretty is someone who can score goals in bunches and Hauge is a sweetener for Zacha who can play so many roles on this team and is still getting a pay increase to play on a team that could win right now.
Chicago needs bodies and both of those guys can play in their lineup
I truly believe that in the right situation Dadonov can make an impact and Dallas seems like a good fit IMO

If Smith wants to stay he is going to have to take a pay cut.
Roy, Howden and Kolesar are bridge like deals.

Logan Thompson was more then capable down the stretch and Lehner is who he when healthy is a guy who can get hot.

Patrick is there cause that is his ideal role. The beauty of Vegas is that some of these guys can slide all around. Stephenson, Zacha, Howden, Roy and Kolesar can all play center and Zacha could slide up to the top line a produce.

Their cap problems are going to haunt them for a long time and they are going to have to have their big players carry them at times and Eichel and Stone can for sure do that when healthy.

Maybe on all that, but if you are relying on Nolan Patrick actually playing, you've built your stone castle in the sand. He has demonstrated one thing, is that he can not stay healthy and is one hit from retirement. Last year when he did play, he was incredibly poor. And that lineup is too thin and too close to the cap to continually have Patrick on the IR.

This seems kind of personal between you and Mr.Patrick.....

Like I said there are 5 guys who can play 3C and Vegas used some many guys last year someone like Rondbjerg or Dorofeyev can come in a help at a budget cap hit while Patrick is on LTIR

Its not personal, its just common sense that if you're developing a roster that you dont pick players who are unlikely to deliver/play. I wouldn;t have said anything if Patrick was your 4C, but your rationale is that hes ideal in that spot. Facts show hes far from perfect to be relied on for any roster spot

I thought about that or taking Kiviranta but was not sure if Dallas needed them in their bottom six or not.

I’d rather move Glendening as I don’t think we need him AND Faksa. Kivi is capable of more offense in a better system imo and is part of the Finnish mafia lol

I like what Faksa did in the playoffs two years ago but I get he has not been that since. His contract isn't the worst if you can get third line production.

He needs better line mates. Would like to see him with Namestnikov and Dellandrea
