Just like the other KK, I think he does. Double what the rangers will offer him

I would rather have Olofsson then Puljujärvi. Arizona does not do that deal for Mitts and why are we giving Toronto a 1st round pick for an expensive Aaron Dell.

Yeah and to allow him to go UFA the following year. So actually considerably more than 2 million. Better hope the goaltender replicates his season and they get to play domingue and pyotr kochetkov in the playoffs next year so they can go back to the conference finals

COlorado doesnt make the deal, Arizona does cause they need young roster players. And because it comes with toronto's second best defencemen who fits buffalos timeline and plays the right side

Edmonton declines. Olofsson will command a larger contract but brings less value to the team. Edmonton's cap situation precludes this sort of a deal.

I mean 4.5 over 4 years for a guaranteed 20-30 goals a year isnt bad. Buff can take back cap

That a huge over payment to Toronto, That would be a wash without the first. Mrazek is about a second to take the contact and that what a offer sheet for Liljegren would be .So I wouldn't offer more than a third or a four. You also can't just plop Mrazek on Ltr you would be better off buying him out after the trade.

Didnt put him on LTIR put him on IR which has no cap implications. Just scratch him or send him down for 2 years rather than buy out. It is the 28th overall pick so it isnt as valuable as you think and you get back a great young RHD

I would like to see him stay. There is a possibility he has a Tage like year. He has had the injury bug the last two seasons. Doing any business with Toronto is a no go for me.

I could argue the same for Puj, his underlyings are great. And if you are a team and not willing to take advantage of a rival in cap trouble then thats just being bad at your job.

I'd rather just keep Puljujarvi. Here's why.

He's among the very best in the league in on-ice impact:

CF% Rel: 4th among all forwards
FF% Rel: 5th
SF% Rel: 4th
GF% Rel: 5th
xGF% Rel: 3rd

NST link

You don't trade a 23-year-old who has a top-5 impact in the entire league, especially when he's relatively affordable. There's no logical justification for it.

Here's a comp: Puljujarvi v Olofsson, on ice impact

Sure there is. Does that take into account quality of line mates? He could score 50 with mcdavid

Rels are how well you perform compared to your teammates. The fact that Jesse is top-5 in the league while playing on a much better team is incredible actually. It's much easier to look good via Rels when you're on a poor team.
