Just a horrid trade for NJ to acquire Pasta for one year. Even with an extension it's an overpay. Just acquire a signed Fiala, and then you the available to sign a UFA...this year or next.

I'm sure Bruins fans will disagree, but that's pretty good return for Pastrnak, imo. That being said, unless Cassidy's firing is a sign of further big changes, I dont see it happening.

As a Bruins fan if they do decide to trade Pasta this would be a great return, if they were offered this deal with the current state of the franchise I they have to accept to kickstart a rebuild

Kevin Fiala will get closer to $8,000,000 x 8 years.

And Detroit's not giving up Zadina for Zacha who wont even be qualified.

Regardless of value considerations, Detroit don't need left wingers. Add in the possibility of Zacha being walked I doubt that any team is willing to pay very much for his rights.

Apart from the Zadina one, Devils shouldn't do any of these trades.
Campbell and Lyubushkin are decent signings however.
