Detroit probably takes that if Bertuzzi could play in Canada which he can't, So Dubas wont do it. And i doubt Yzerman will do a 1 for 1 trade. anyways.

Both Yzerman and Bertuzzi has publically stated that they want to extend as soon as possible this summer.

An extended Bertuzzi is worth more than two years of Nylander.

If i'm Yzerman i would give Bertuzzi either 7 x $6.5M or 7 x $7.0M but with a no NMC or NTC so he'd still be easy to move if he chose to move him.

8 years contract, front-loaded to keep the cap down and I agree on the absence of clauses.

I agree, that is worth more. Just had read some articles and as a Leaf's guy, Bertuzzi type guy is what they need to find somehow.
