I think Gauthier is the Sens pick. He has all the things that the Sens scouts and general manager like and he has a lot of potential. He also has NHL bloodlines which the Sens like.

i like the kasper pick, such an yzerman move. i think huston is late second round bound because oh his size unfotunaly. and i think lekkerimaki is top 7. i would not be surprised if he is picked ahead of savoie and kemmel. im also a big fan of nemec at number 2.

And for some reason, despite being Canadian team, they are building young NTDP core there (White, Norris, Tkachuk, Sanderson, Kleven, Boucher).

I've got my eye on Montreal (#26), Arizona (#27 & #32), and Buffalo (#16 & #28) as potential landing spots for Miroshnichenko. With the upside that he has as a player, I still think a team takes a shot with him in the 1st Round. I look at the teams that have multiple 1st Round Picks as potential targets.

If any of the teams listed above draft him in the back end of the 1st Round & he's able to return to form all of the sudden you've got arguably a "would have been" top-5 pick in the draft. If he doesn't return to form, you've still got other early picks to mitigate some of that risk.

I see your point, but I think Gauthier plays similar to Brady.

I could see Hutson as a late second round, but after looking at certain players like Cole Caufield and Alex DeBrincat, its proven that size doesn't matter anymore.

I also love Lekkerimaki, I just think his effort defensively isn't worth the top 7. Though I do have him at 9th on my draft board. Also I see a lot of Sharks wanted Lekkerimaki to be drafted at 11th and it worked out somehow.

And for Nemec, I seriously don't understand why people have Slafkovsky so high. His skating isn't worth 1st overall, even top 3. He's 4th on my draft board.

I would say add Washington to that list of teams. Miro just seems like the type of player the Capitals would draft. But as of now Miro is an honorable mention for the first round. I did consider Arizona taking him at 33rd, but I thought since the Moser pick paid off for him, I think the trend continues.

agree with slakovsky! people are just looking at the olympic stats and word cup when they have him that high. i also dont think he is top 5.

as for hutson, i think the size argument is still hold true for defensemen. we see its not as important as we think for foward but small defenseman are usually not pick so far in the top 3 rounds. i would not be suprised if he is even picked around 50-60 pick when he as top 15 talent.

Curious to see your thoughts on the best available of a few different things that could be on the board at 10 OA and 22 OA for ANA
Power Forward, Shutdown Dman, Sniper.

I havent looked super closely into the class yet and im curious to see your opinion

I feel like Lambert would be a tremendous fit for the Ducks

This is the perfect draft for the Sabres IMO. Only way it gets better is if one of the top 2 RDs somehow falls to 9.

I think the Ducks need:

Center
Power Forward
Left-Shot Defenseman
