TOR
  1. Knight, Spencer
Additional Details:
Bob has 4 years left on his contract - sure Knight has stud potential but you wonder if he'd be available for an overpay.

TOR
  1. Blackwood, Mackenzie
Additional Details:
Very darkhorse-ish. Poor year, injured, NJ could make a play for Campbell or Kuemper if need be. Wonder if he's expendable.

TOR
  1. Vanecek, Vitek [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
Young, controllable, has had flashes. You could literally put Samsonov in here too. They probably more one of the two.

I'd be much more interested in Varlamov with some retention, or somebody like Georgiev (or hell, maybe even both). Varlamov is a proven vet who has a playoff track record and Georgiev has some potential, you let them function a 1A and 1B for a year and see how he does. Then you have options for the next season. Both are backups on their team and should be available. I'd try to rinse Varlamov through Arizona or Seattle to get some easy retention.

Gibson is a major reason his team has been bad for a while. Every single stat that exists shows him to be bad, like bottom half of the bottom half of the league.
He hasnt been good, he hasnt been elite, and he hasnt been brought down by a bad team. He is right there as a major issue and he's be a terrible risk for any team looking to compete any time soon, so lets not be stupid. He's a terrible option for the leafs

Devils would be reluctant to trade their only non injured veteran goalie.
If they did they'd probably be looking at Liljegren or Sandin coming back.
