Trading Stolarz for a mid six rental doesn’t really accomplish anything positive for the Ducks so they’d decline this offer

One year of a cheap, perfectly good backup goalie, whom we might want to re-sign and whom we'd have to replace from outside, is worth more to us than one year of an expensive 28-year-old rental forward whom we probably wouldn't want or be able to re-sign.
