I actually really like the Pulju for Samsonov swap. Caps need youth in their Winger core and Pulju plays with size and speed and the Oilers need a G and Samsonov has shown flashes of being a true 1A

Keitha nd Smith retiring would greatly benefit this team.

If Keith retires Edmonton would lose his cap hit of $5.5M and also gain another $3.4M. This alone would free up $8.9M!!!!

Skinner will be in the NHL next year he is waiver eligible now and would surly get claimed off waivers. So if Smith doesn't retire than Edmonton will run Smith/Skinner.

Good Washington trade. Solid Seattle deal, Borgen is highly underrated and exactly what the Oilers need on the blueline

Caps accept pretty easily I would think, but not at all a rip-off, great deal for both teams
