Habs probably wont go for it unless we move Dvorak

Ducks will not do that - gibson by himself is prob worth that so you would need to add to get Mrazek off the books

Arizona accepts that, good deal

There's nothing exceptional about Kerfoot's game to make him an appealing trade target. You can find players similar on the market without having to sacrifice assets.

Your intention here was to free up cap space in order to sign your RFA's. I get it, but MTL isn't the destination for Kerfoot. We're currently over the cap and adding 3.5M for a middle-6'er won't solve it.

Kerfoot's high cap hit and low salary owed means he's likely going to Arizona or Ottawa this offseason

I'm with you on this. If he's moved, it's to a team with cap space.

budget team looking for a middle 6 forward who would likely flip him at the deadline seems like the most likely fit

V-E-R-Y close on the Anaheim trade!

Just substitute Stolarz for Gibson. That package doesn't pay for the $7 million in retention, factoring in Mrazek's uselessness.

Sandin isn't a number 7 d-man. If the leafs trade for Chychrun, they would be moving Sandin and Muzzin. The leafs would have 6 left shot d-men and Liljregren.
