Islanders are not interested. A 1st and 2 NHL ready prospects for a C that would be their 3rd C. No thank you

In what way is Marcus Foligno a cap dump? Elite defensively, great leader, loved by everyone and he's developed a scoring touch

Umm what is this? Minnesota isn't trading Marcus foligno. Nothing will never ever get you foligno. Not sure how you think Minnesota adds

You need to put the crack pipe down if you think that Foligno deal is realistic. We give up the (significantly) better player AND add a 3rd? Not in a million years.

Weird, I think this is a great deal for NYI (aside from the cap). Bellows isn't much, Salo won't be much more than a #4, and a 2023 1st round pick that you imagine would be in the bottom half in the 1st round. All for a versatile scorer.

Again, I think that's way too much and it doesn't meet our needs. We need a Top LW and a 2nd pairing LD. The 2023 draft class is suppose to be very good, better than this year's. Also, how are we absorbing his almost 6M cap hit? For that package I'm going after Chychrun. Even with going after Chychrun, you would have to add Bailey's contract. Also where is he playing? He's a Center or RW - Centers were are set with Brazal, Nelson and Pageau. RW- You have Parm, Beau and Wally. Wally will be playing with Brazal this year. No one is taking Parm and I'm not in favor of trading Beau (24) who is one of the few isles not 30 yrs old and makes 2M less than this guy who is 26 and who's been in the league now 6 years. Beau is basically a 18-22 goal scorer. Is there much of a difference between the both? Both have been in the league 6 years. Beau has 93 goals to Schmaltz's 78 and you want to give up that much young talent for him?
