That's a no from chicago. Not trading Dach, and not trading any of our core players to Minny

Hawks would accept, but you’re getting a raw deal here. Dach tops out as a good 3C

No chance. Not yet anyway. Kid's still really young and missed a season to injury. Hawks will give him another year or 2 before they give up on him

You’re underselling brown hard here, he’s worth way more then what u think he’s not a 4th liner

Really? That is Ottawa's 2022 7th overall pick. I think if anything is gonna convince us to let him go, a top ten draft pick (even this year) might do it.

And he's overpaying Tierney by $2M.

I see a world where the Sens do that deal and I wouldn't hate it. I will agree with somebody else that just within your own lineup you're undervaluing Brown, he's closer to being a 2nd liner than a 4th liner.

As a total aside, save yourself. do not sign Chris Tierney

I like Dach better than the guys who will be available at 7. In terms of replacing him with a center at that spot you're looking at Gautheir, Geekie, Nazar, and Lambert. Would rather Dach over all those guys

Yeah. I guess when you put it that way, I agree. I just figured since they asked the question "would this be fair?" that it was just more of a starting point. And I think that'd be a hell of a starting point for a Dach trade.
