Unite the stromes if Kane gets greedy

Created by: smokewiseganja
Team: 2022-23 Edmonton Oilers
Initial Creation Date: Jun. 9, 2022
Published: Jun. 9, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Still a bit salty Ryan never got his chance with McDavid when he was the only RW really worthy of playing with him from 2017-2019

Also had some good chemistry with JP if I remember correctly. Either way I’d love either player on the oilers- both are good bets to produce with McDavid, and have proven they can score in a depth role too. Cheap too

Dylan is definitely not a winger, he is a center. If you can put him in the 2C and move LD to the wing then it makes sense. He's also going to get closer to $4M

I doubt Ryan Strome has any interest returning to Edmonton especially at that cap hit

Honestly not sure about this argument. No centres to play with in Chicago, worst case scenario here you have to move McLeod to the wing and have Strome at C so it works either way. Still think he would produce on the wing

This one moment is going to bring his cost down by a good crisp 1 mil.

It's team defense and goaltending are your problem, so reunite the Subban bro's to fix it.

I’d love to see if any other team of Edmonton’s calibre would offer strome more than 4 mil. He was good friends with the core and it’s a whole different management group and coaching staff now too

Well he played with both Toews and Dach and didn't produce. Played even with Tyler Johnson at one point. But to your point, maybe with McDavid however Strome is just not a strong on the puck guy, doesn't have much speed and his best asset is his net front presence, IQ and passing not to mention good at the dot, that is better as a center then winger IMO.

they had chemistry back in juniors, I wouldn't be surprised if they'd gel when put on the same line like when played in Erie
