1.
VAN
  1. Brännström, Erik [RFA Rights]
  2. 2022 2nd round pick (TBL)
2.
VGK
  1. Ferland, Micheal
Additional Details:
Ferland is guaranteed LTIR and through cap shenanigans will give the Knights a larger LTIR pool to ice their team. Carrier is a good depth piece but is easily replaced by callups.
3.
VAN
    Future Considerations
    ARI
    1. Poolman, Tucker
    2. 2022 2nd round pick (TBL)
    4.
    NSH
    1. Pearson, Tanner
    Additional Details:
Both players need a change of scenery, Pearson has proven to be good enough for 15/20 goals and 40 points and could easily repeat those numbers with the Predators' middle-six. Also is a proven playoff performer, with 23 points in 51 career games.

Myers has been a disappointment, buried in the minors with a year left on his deal. Canucks are in need of RHD and can take a risk on him.

Canucks can not afford Klingberg and need to hold on to cash to extend both Miller and Horvat.

Man, Ottawa wouldn't be paying the Canucks to take some salary off of them, but then again, Dorion did it with Hamonic trade.

Ottawa declines. Don’t think Poolman costs a 2nd to dump. Pearson > Philippe Myers, we could’ve had Myers for free on waivers. Dickinson for him makes more sense

    - OTT declines
    - VAN shouldn’t do the ARZ and NSH trades IMO
    - besides being a RHD, Klingberg isn’t the type of Dman the Canucks need, especially not at 9m per year.

Y'all are sleeping on Myers. The only reason I moved him was to acquire Klingberg in Free Agency. Mark my words, if he's going to be moved, it'll be for more than Brannstrom + 2nd this offseason.

I don't know what Dorion was thinking when he gave up a 3rd round pick and took on Hamonic contract.........I think Hamonic must got a glowing referral from his former coach who is now an assistant coach on Senators.

    That's the only logical explanation

Poolman might be on LTIR for all we know but he doesn't cost a 2nd to dump, I do think Myers wouldn't cost assets to dump but that's a bit much, Dickinson for P. Myers as suggested above makes more sense and Klingberg is not the guy we need and especially not for 9 million until he's 36

Add Connor Garland, Del Zotto for salary going the other way and improve the pick

Garland + Myers for Brannstrom + Del Zotto + 2nd round pick (OTT)

When the trade happened, we took the opportunity to laugh at Dorion again but Hamonic was fine in Ottawa. His AAV is only 3.0 and only 1 year left, decent stop gap vet for Ottawa

A 3rd is not a huge piece, Dorion has made a lot of moves worse than that, this is pretty much in the middle

His biggest issue in Vancouver was that he was not available to play hockey for portions of the season.
