Obviously unrealistic but should be good enough for a top 3 pick, and the prospects should be mature enough to carry us forward in a couple years. Trades are not exact, but starting points for what we'd be interested in.

No chance, we don't need to get older or to take on his upcoming raise. Johnson's ceiling is higher and he fits the window much better

Seems like a steep price for Vrana.

Trying to decide which trade is worse, the Carolina trade, or the Columbus trade. Currently leaning towards the Columbus trade thinking why would a rebuilding/retooling team trade their best prospect for a rental and a 2nd round pick, as Bertuzzi isn’t signing an extension in Columbus after Jarmo banished Rinaldo after signing him and him not getting vaccinated.

I understand the price for Larkin to Colorado but Colorado could not do that. They are losing Kadri this offseason because they can't pay mackinnon and another big deal alongside him. They need cost controlled assets

I went for Johnson over Sillinger because I thought Sillinger was more of a lock to be on CBJ's roster. Forgot to mention that, with this being unrealistic, the Canadian regulations on vaccination are discontinued (at least for athletes).

KJ for a 2nd and one year of a guy who is going to choose to sit out at least a dozen or so games?

I've seen some, but this may be one of the nope-iest KJ trades I've seen.

I think Dallas says yes to that. They drop down about 20 spots but they get a solid RHD and lose Faksa. Win-win.

Yes, but Jarmo’s decision to not even let Rinaldo play in the AHL left a sour taste in people’s mouth and since Bertuzzi was the only player in the NHL not to get vaccinated I highly doubt he would want to play for Columbus knowing they banished a player for it.

People were unhappy with Jarmo for that? I saw Rinaldo as the jerk in that situation.

Swap Kaut For Foudy. You can have a tchèque line junior in 2016-2017

Dylan Larkin is roughly looking at $9,500,000 x 8 years on his next contract, With Nathan MacKinnon needing a huge contract Colorado can't afford both.

These trades are bad for Detroit for the most part.

Bertuzzi simply isn't going to get either of those players from Columbus. They are working on building a team for the future right now so trading away core pieces from that future for older players just doesn't make sense.
