That is an interesting offer for MTL. Just for the pure fact that it is our starter, habs say no. But if Price is going to be fine then they consider

Devils probably do this but what about Smith for Puljujarvi as the base

I think the Jets would consider JP, but not at this price. Maybe a 3rd or so, but I wouldn't want them to do more. The Oilers can't afford to keep him anyway with JP looking for a raise.

I can assure you it wouldn't take a first round pick to get Ty Smith at this point. I'd do Smith for Puljujarvi
