Zadorov will find a contract elsewhere, no need for Calgary to burn cap space on him, unaffordable luxury for this season. I think Helm is a good depth piece but I'd bring back Lewis instead and let a Ruzicka or Dube center a line full time. PErreault is a nice target too for the right price. I think the contracts are a little off but is what it is

so moving 12M of cap (in two players) in the flat cap era? Damn, I wish it was that easy.

I would do that if I were Buffalo.

Gaudreau will get his 8 years if he stays with Calgary and probably a little more money, Tkachuk I could see going shorter but I would guess he gets 8 like his brother. 'mangiapane will be closer to 5 than he will be to 6, Kylington will get a 1 year at a lower number due to his RFA timeline, I think Gudbranson gets less money for 2 years and Jarnkrok will ask for more, anything over 2.1 - 2.3 ish you let him find it elsewhere.

Sabres added their cap dump in bishop, Monahan who actually needs to be paid probably wont be under consideration.

Sabres trade is not happening. Buffalo clearly won't be spending money to get draft assets. Reach cap floor and we done.

Neither of the trades are good. It certainly won't cost a 1st to move Lucic and a healthy Monahan isn't negative value. Gaudreau certainly gets max term. Kylington either less or more term, this walks him straight to UFA. Mangiapane won't get more than Buchnevich, refer to the recent Rust deal for him.give Guddy term to bring down the cost. Zadorov is gone, can be replaced internally and cost way too much for the 3rd pair. Jarnkrok, while a nice story with his cousin, really wasn't a strong fit with the team, should let him walk. There is some bad history between Helm and Lindholm so hard pass on him
