This is what the trade should be, but it is an overpay if cat does not agree to an extension and an underpay if he does agree to an extension. Just add a bit onto either side depending on that

He's an RFA so it's not like he can walk. Think the Cat would love to play beside Hughes for the next decade

He can walk in 2 years, As far as DeBrincat playing with Hughes for the next decade. I'm sure he's just dying for that.

Why not, Sure DeBrincat can play for far better teams than the NJD in the future.

Devils are far better off signing Johnny Gaudreau than trading for Alex DeBrincat. At least Gaudreau is a New Jersey kid. Why would Alex DeBrincat have any interest in the New jersey Devils?

Cat and Hughes will be better than any duo u have in Detroit. Larkin Raymond isn’t as good as Cat and Hughes in long run

laugh Detroit has far more talent coming from their pipeline than NJ, Within 5-8 years Detroit will have one of the better D cores in the league and our Goaltending with Sebastian Cossa will be far superior over anything the Devils have. Detroit better D and Goaltending NJD have a better offense but not for much longer. And i wouldn't be calling Detroit a s**t hole when we finished far ahead of you guys and will win the cup before you and have a far superior GM to yours.

laugh Jack Hughes best season 56 points, Dylan Larkins best season 73 points. Neither Hischier or Hughes can stay healthy long enough to put up good seasons.

Why wouldn't he? Do you know him personally? Do you know where he wants to play and where he doesn't?

Who wouldn't want to play with the best U23 center in the league?

Devils have one of the best futures in the league so again not sure what you're talking about

Don't need to know him, Just know that NJ is a long ways from having a competitive team.

Who wouldn't want to play with the best U23 center in the league?

Hughes can't even stay healthy long enough to be the best U23 center in the league.

You had better start upgrading your Goaltending then.

Hughes didn't miss a game until this year and is the best U23 Center in the league. 2nd best U23 player behinds only Svechnikov. I'll take my guys

Literally signed Jack Campbell in this and Korpisalo is a very suitable backup. If Blackwood has a good year, we'll just resign him

Check points per game genius

Hey genius over the course of an 82 game schedule, Dylan Larkin 58.2 points per season, Jack Hughes 52.3 points per season. You were saying?

Yeah well Jack Campbell isn't signing for $5,000,000 x 3 years when he wants $5,000,000 x 5 years so you need to add more term to his deal.
