Feel that Arizona can ask for more. Not because the value is wrong, but this move just seems as a last-ditch effort to keep Letang and Malkin, so they can ask for a few more draft picks my trade:

To PIT:
Arizona 2022 1st Round Pick

To ARI:
Marino
Jarry
Blueger
Zucker
Pittsburgh 2022 1st Round Pick
Pittsburgh 2023 2nd Round Pick
Pittsburgh 2024 4th Round Pick
Pittsburgh 2022 6th Round Pick

Still think that's a resounding no.

If you want 3oa, they want Guentzel which won't happen

Yeah I definitely feel like this would be stealing but hey its Arizona. Maybe AZ doesn't love any of the top three, there could definitely be better packages people offer but idk? Theres a scenario where they could get another 1st at the trade deadline for Jarry and maybe a second and a good prospect for Zucker.

Cooley will be in college next year. If this trade were to happen these are the lines id like to see:
Guentzel - Crosby - Rust
Rakell- Malkin - Kapanen
Heinen - Rodrigues - McGinn
Zohorna - Carter - O'Connor

Dumo - Tang
Matheson - Cole
Joseph - Ruhwedel

trade Pettersson for cap room, maybe sign a guy like Nic Deslauriers, and let O'Connor, Zohorna, Puustinen, Poulin, and Legare battle it out for a final spot.

kapanen on the 2nd line is a resounding no. I would rather see one of the young guys like Poulin or Nylander there.

I also cannot see Cole coming back
