Barbeshev wont get 4.5. Probably around 3 mil like Carter. Does anyone else really want the pens to go after Palat?

Oh I do but I LOVE Val. Maybe instead of Frank vatrano, they use his money and left over money for Palat?

Detroit accepts but veto the Pettersson deal, he belongs in Detroit.

I'd love to have Palat in our top 6, but I think he's going to find himself at the center of a bidding war, especially being nearly ppg this postseason. And if it comes down to a bidding war, Pitt's probably going to lose.

I think it's interesting offer. I really like it from Pittsburgh's perspective. I would've jumped on it.

Tbh we have the money for him and I would rather sign Palat than anyone else except Letang and Malkin
