I think COL considers that pretty seriously. CHI doesn’t, and EDM needs a goalie but I seriously don’t get why Blackwood is viewed as anything other than an eccentric middling goalie.

Same discussion as earlier today with a different post. Explain to me how you are going to afford Mercer, siegenthaler, Boqvist, Smith, Walsh, Zetterlund, Foote, Puljujarvi, Luke Hughes, etc. Even if we don’t resign some of them, Mercer alone take all of the cap space then the rest will need to go to Luke Hughes and we can’t sign any depth players even at league minimum. Explain how this works man

Is Zacha any good and what would his next contract look like? I know he was a high pick but his stats look a little underwhelming.

Middle six forward who’d probably fit in nicely in Washington. He plays well when he’s around other good players( best playing w Hischier) but is underwhelming when he runs a line himself. If u can get him on the opposite side of Ovi, he could probably do some damage cuz he makes some nice passes, has good speed, and size and can absolutely rip the puck. Inconsistency has been his biggest issue
